Softball starts

THE 2008 softball season will begin on September 5.

Friday nights for seniors and under 16s competition.

Saturday, September 6, is for the players aged 5-9 years T-Ball and 10-14 years Modball.

Playing at the Kemp St Fields every week, the competition covers new players through to experienced ones. Club training for all age groups is held on Wednesdays from 4-5.30pm. Extra specialist training to try out for the next levels at no cost.

Macleay Association has representative games against Tweed Heads, Far North Coast and Coffs Harbour if you wish to try out.

Registrations are taken for individuals or teams on Sunday, August 17 and 24 between 9am-12 noon or phone Mac and/or Lynne McMillan on 6566 8172 anytime.

When you take up softball all equipment is supplied for every player to be equal and ready to play the games of T-Ball, Modball and seniors.

The season is completed by Christmas of this year with plenty of enjoyment being had.
